Version 2.3.4.8

description

When i try to install the above version i get: mojoSetup has detected that the database user does not have permission to alter the database schema. You need to correct this or provide a connection string with sufficient permission.

When i go back to for instance:2.3.4.1 with the same database connection the issue is not there any more.

I really intended you to post your question in the forums on mojoportal.com, specifically [url:http://www.mojoportal.com/Forums/ForumView.aspx?pageid=5&mid=34&ItemID=3|the installation help forum]

What version of MS SQL are you using?
You are doing an upgrade or a new installation?
What specific mojoportal download package are you using?

Please in the future use the forums on mojoportal.com where more people may be able to help and more people can benefit from the answer.

SQL 2000 is no longer supported.
I think if you are using SQL 2005 you need to install all the service paks.
Hope it helps,
Joe

I just contacted my www.surftown.dk which is where i host my sites. I seems that the database there which is an older one which is based on mssql 2000. So how they have to move my databases to a new server.

you can create a database backup on sql 2000 and restore it on sql 2005 or sql 2008. Your host should be able to help with that. If your host does not offer sql 2005 or sql 2008 you can ask them for a backup and move to a different host.
